Bluff View Christian School prepares students K-8 to enter high school academics as well as to be well-rounded, active members of their community.

We use the following prepared curricula:

Mathematics:   Big Ideas Math (Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt)


Science: Kendall-Hunt ByDesign curriculum

Reading/Language Arts:  Kendall-Hunt Pathways

Social Studies:  McGraw/Hill K-4 Our Country and It's Regions

                                                            5-8 Discovering Our Past: A History of                                                                                                               the World

Bible:  North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists Encounter curriculum

Art, Music and Physical Education are  usually worked into the Social Studies theme currently under study.

All  curriculum is enhanced with teacher-prepared activities, online programs such MobyMax, guests, and projects.  Parental involvement is encouraged and appreciated.

  2. Students in Adventist schools had higher-than-expected academic achievement based on an assessment of individual ability?
